PTP would like to Congradulate Bill Lutz for winning the Friday Nite Rage race in Indy in his PTP tuned Pro-mod Camaro for the second time in a row running a career best 3.94 in the finals.

Congrats to PTP tuned racer Chris Mattingly for winning Class in C Stock Automatic (C/SA) at the MAC Tools US Nationals at Indy today. This is his first win and we are really proud of him! His first win is at the biggest race of the year, pretty cool!

Jason won his Second "Wally" this weekend at the NMCA race in Bowling Green Kentucky. He qualified #1 and won the race growing his points lead in NMCA x275.
PTP Racing would like to congradulate Willard Kinzer on setting the NMCA Super Street 10.5 MPH record at his first NMCA event out with new car. Willard stunned the crowd in Bowling Green this weekend going over 226mph on a M/T 315 drag radial.

PTP Racing was in Union Grove Wisconsin this weekend racing Scotty K's MRDA x275 program. We ended up setting a class record and winning the event. NMRA is the next stop this weekend (Milan MI)

Congrats to PTP Racing customer Don Burton for his win at Cecil County this weekend at Nate's Ultimate Outlaw race. Don won with his twin F1-r combo, not bad for your third time to the track!

Congrats to PTP Racing customer Alan Obrien for running 6.04 @ at only 233 mph (had to lift early) on the 7th pass down the track in his new Twin turbo dragster. The car joined the 3 second club on that pass in the 1/8 mile by going 3.97@190 mph. Not bad for an AMC engine with twin Precision 76 mm turbos.

Alan Obrien turned some heads this weekend at the NHRA race in Bristol. He qualified #3 in Top Dragster with a 6.24 at 235.97 mph. He had the whole field covered by nearly 10 mph. Not bad for the first time out with a brand new car!
PTP would also like to Congradulate customer Bo Butner on winning his second Wally of the month by winning "Class" in Stock at the NHRA race in Bristol.

PTP would like to congradulate our customer Kevin Neil on his win this weekend at the Battle of the States Race in the 28 x 10.5 class. Great job this weekend!
PTP would also like to congradulate our customer Steven Jackson on taking home all of the money in the Battle of the States race in Outlaw Radial.
Jason Lee and PTP started off the 2011 Season right where they left off winning both the NMRA and NMCA Drag Radial events in Bradenton Flordia. Jason ripped off an amazing 7.54 at 182 mph on 275's. That pass is the fastest pass ever by an F1-R.

Congrats to Jeff Lutz for going 6.22 at 232 in NMCA Pro Street (New MPH Record)
We made some real progress with Jeff's car this weekend at the NMCA race dispite him having crashed his car at a test session in Columbus, Ohio. He worked his butt off to get the car back together for this race. PTP is taking care of the tuning duties on this rocketship. We are really looking forward to the Superbowl next month and are going to do our best to put the car in the winners photo! Congrats to Jeff and crew!
PTP had another great weekend! Jason showed up with a brand new motor for NMRA-ATCO. He proceeded to Qualify #1, set another ET record and went on to win the race. His fastest pass of the weekend was a 7.87 at 180mph on a BFG drag radial tire.
Jason Lee started the 2010 season off as if 2009 never ended. March 4th-7th at the NMRA season opener Jason qualified #1, set the ET & MPH record, and won the race! Great start for PTP and Jason.

While testing for the NMCA race next week, at a local track (Milan), Jason ran a 7.93 @ 177 mph in x-treme street trim. This pass is fast enough to shatter the current record.Good luck to Jason and crew next in Bowling Green Kentucky.
It has been a great 2011 for PTP racing. Congrats to our customers who set records and personal best this year. Here are just a few from this year. Bill lutz broke the 5 second barrier in NMCA Pro Street car with a 5.99 at 241. Mark Wells twin turbo Grand Am going 5.92 at only 220 with the chutes out at 1000 foot (3.87 196 in the 1/8). Willard Kinzer for running an amazing 6.59 at ...239.91 on true 10.5 inch tires at 83 years old. Rod Houck running 4.02 at 192 at Farmington dragway. (look for some easy 3.90's in 2012) Chris Mattinley for winning Class at the US Nationals in C/SA. Jason Lee for winning World Championships in both NMCA and NMRA in X275. Allen Obrein's twin turbo NHRA Top Dragster running 6.04 at 239 at Norwalk. Russell McManis 7.58 at 183 in X275 trim. Congrats to all of our racers, I wish I could name all of you guys here. We look forward to helping each one of you go even faster in 2012! |
